Hi all,
In the past, there have been mention of great write-ups on particular flying units that appeared in 'Over the Front ' and 'Cross and Cockade' Journals. I am hoping that I can be pointed to a particular volume/number that contains information (history and possibly combat narratives) on the following French Chasse units:
15, 23, 37, 65, 75, 78, 80, 81, 83, 84, 85, 86, 92, 93, 95, 96, 97, 112
Any help will be greatly appreciated B)
regards

For Over The Front you might try the online tables of contents found here.
http://www.overthefront.com/issues/cover_gallery.html
Not all issues have their tables of contents online, but this may be a decent start.

GK

WW:
The old C&C (USA) has the following unit histories which you may find interesting:
C&C (USA) 19,1 Escadrille Spa. 95
C&C (USA) 21,1 Escadrille Spa.81
C&C (USA) 23,2 Escadrille Spa 84
I'm sure Bill Bailey will be able to add others.

From the C&C (UK) and C&C (Intl) index files, of Vol 1 to Vol 25 (1970-1994):
Vol 9, No 2, pages 68-77: Escadrille SPA 93. Paul Chamberlain & FW Bailey
Vol 9, No 3, pages 112-121: The Grim Reapers of SPA 94. FW Bailey & AE Clausen, Jr
Vol 13, No 2, pages 49-62: Escadrille 31. Paul Chamberlain & Frank W Bailey
Vol 14, No 4, pages 161-169: L'Escadrille des Crocodiles, SPA 152. Frank W Bailey
Vol 16, No 3, pages 106-111: L'Escadrile SPA 153. Frank W Bailey & Daniel Brunet
The index extends only to Vol 25, so there could be further articles. Some articles by Bill Bailey have been translated into French, or appeared originally in French, in the magazine Avions.
Frank.

Thank you Rick, Frank and greenknight for your gracious help. I will take a look at the indexes for Over the Front, and see about getting some of the older C&C you mentioned (if they are available still). Hopefully Bill will see this
