Just curious if anyone has ever seen accurate scale drawings or plans of the tent hangars used by the Germans during WWI. Also any good detail photos.
Thanks!

German Canvas Tent Hangars:
Microsculpt:
I have multi-view dimensioned 1/72 scale drawing of the standard German aircraft field tent. The drawing is $15.00, and $2.00 for postage and handling.
The hangar will hold one C Class Recce machine or two fighters.

German aircraft tent hangars.
Stogieman:
That is a nice photo. The two distant tent hangars, they are not using the ridge beam between the two tent poles. The near tent has the ridge beam between the tent poles. It appears the tent men in the unit got lazy when they setup the two tents. In units with C Type aircraft, there was one tent for each aircraft. In the Jasta they put two aircraft in each tent.
You know, that scene would make a good dirama!

Stogieman—
For some reason your images are not showing up when I'm viewing the forum. Very frustrating. Am I doing something wrong? I'd like to see them!
Images in other threads are fine.

??
Tom, I'm not sure what the problem is unless maybe it's because they are large. Maybe wait awhile. the pix are pretty big. I can see them fine.
