Naval 3 & Naval 8 - March 1918
Hello,
From what I can gather, Naval 3 and Naval 8 swapped their Camels on March 1, 1918. According to  Christopher Draper, Naval 8 was sent back to England for a rest on March 3rd (returning earlier then expected..read on). When the German Spring offensive began on March 21st, the British lost ground, and these two units were forced to change airfields several times during the big push. I was hoping that some of our most esteemed British 'experts' could inform me of the bases that these two units were at during this period. I know that you know.....  regards |
