Plattsburg New York 1915/16
Many know we were not prepared for entry into WW I and many also know that "military summer camps" for civilians were organized across the country begining in 1913. One of the camps - probably the most successful and well known, was at Plattsburg, New York.
Since a number of WW I pilots attended the summer camps at Plattsburg, I'm stretching the connection here, but....
Does anyone know the dates of the camps were held at Plattsburg in 1915 and 1916 ? For 1915, I have 9 August - 6 September and 8 September to 10 October. 1916, I know only 5 July - 8 August and 8 September to 5 October.
I'm trying to correlate the records of some of my New Jersey pilots with the sessions in New York.
Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Mike
