The Air Legion (1929)

I'm posting this image for no other reason than it's from an obscure (lost?) silent film from 1929, and a cool image I thought some of you might like to take a look at. The classic movie "Wings" came out in 1927, and was probably a big inspiration for the making of this film.

It's a coming attraction glass slide that was projected in a movie theater, and was a precursor to the modern movie trailer. I collect silent era stuff.

Gary

Thanx Gary.
"Looping Death. Sheeted Flame" I think I feel a novel coming on...or maybe a rock band.

Very cool piece of Americana . I didn't know that's how the movie trailer started out. I thank you for sharing it with us.

regards
