Freikorps aviation

Hello all,

I'm working on a Freikorps section on my site Axis History Factbook, but I've not been able to find more than very brief mentions of the aircraft, pilots and units flying in support of them.
Do you have any good information on this that I may use or suggestions on sources on the topic?

Thanks.

(I hope I posted this in the correct section)

/Marcus

This one is a tough request, Herr. Wendel!... I must own, I've already spent several hours on-line trying to locate information/photos on aircraft or air units employed by the Freikorps, with no luck so far. Although there might be a glimmer of hope! My dear wife is writing a book which deals in large part with the Freikorps... I mentioned your thread to her, and she believes she may have something of use to you in one of her reference books... Will keep you informed! Viel Glück!

Yes, it indeed appears to be an obscure topic and I appreciate the help, thanks.

btw. If anyone has any additional information on the ground forces, that is also of interest.

This site contains a page on the Sachsenberg Geschwader of the Freikorps that might be of interest.

http://membres.lycos.fr/asduciel/

From the home page, click on "Les dossiers" and then the article "Les Allemands en Courlande en 1919".

The text is in French. I have an English translation of the text which I could share.

Thanks for the link Green Knight and if you could share that translation I'd greatly appreciate it.

At the below link you can see the information I currently have about the Kampfgeschwader Sachsenberg. Has anyone got any additions or corrections?
