What is a Kofl report?

I need a better definition of Kofl reports. Okay... I know what they were and what function they served for the Germans... but I don't know the best way to describe - officially - exactly what Kofl reports were, who issued them and what they covered. Did they cover balloons ONLY? And at what level were they distributed... the armee level? Or lower? Any attempts would be appreciated.

KOFL Reports.

Stephen:
The KOFL Reports were weekly summaries complilng the daily activites of all the aviation units under the copmmand of the KOFL, i.e. BOGOHL, Bosta, Jagdgeswadern, Gruja, Jasta, Fl.Abt., Fl.Abt.(A) Fl.Abt.(Lb) Schusta, Schlasta the Armee Flugpark and all the sundry sub organizations the support the afore mentioned units. Kite Balloon activity would be under the KOLUFT. There was also KOFLAK in charge of all anti-aircraft defense units. All three of these persons were at AOK headquarters.
Blue skies,

Many thanks, Dan. To pursue further... if KOLUFT reports were the ones which included balloons, why am I finding so many references to balloon activity in the KOFL reports? Seems redundant.

And where can I find copies of KOLUFT and KOFLAK reports? I've found most of the KOFL material that I need, but getting hold of copies of the KOLUFT and KOFLAK reports seems to be more of a challenge. They have to be around somewhere... I can't be the first person to look for them. Any ideas?

And finally, what did KOFL, KOFLAK and KOLUFT stand for? Thanks again.

KOFL = Kommandeur der Flieger der XX. Armee
KOFLAK = Kommandeur der Flak blah, blah
KOLUFT = Kommandeur der Luftschiffer der - -.
