Can anyone please tell me what aerodrome 203 Squadron was based at in July of 1918?

No 203 Squadron was located at Izel-le-Hameau between mid-May and mid-August 1918.

203 Squadron

Thanks, Graeme, for the information on the 203 Squadron aerodrome. Is there an online map showing the locations of the various WWI aerodromes?

My Gallery
Rich Field -

The is a pretty good airfield locator map published in OtF Vol 6 #1, 1991 by Hugh Wynne. If you can't come up with a copy of this issue, drop me a PM with your snail address and I'll try to get you a photocopy of it. Useful stuff as you can imagine.

Alternatively, try Mapquest for France -

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/main.adp?country=FR

Usually works pretty well.

Keep at it,
Mike
