Hi -

Can anyone point me to a source re:

....U.S. government efforts during WWI resulting in the pooling of U.S. patents relating to the manufacturing and sale of aircraft ???

I sorta recall a history of Curtiss-Wright that addressed the mandatory settlement of the patent feud during The Great War. Primarily it involved the continuing litigation betwixt the Wrights and Glenn Curtiss regarding ailerons. Interesting to note that the Wright Co. began replacing wing warping with ailerons in 1915....
