"Iron Cross Wood", Henley, UK
There is a distinctive planting of oak trees, about 1 mile NW of Henley on Thames in England.
The story I've heard is that apparently a number of German PoWs were based in Henley doing horticultural work, and when nobody was looking, planted a load of acorns! After they went home in 1919…….

Does anyone know anything more about this story?
