Hi,
I'm searching for the correct locations of two areas, most probably in the vicinity of Wervicq. The Germans called them "Heuberg" and "Bulgarenwald".
Never heard of them nor have I ever seen a reference to them. Must be some sort of 'infantry' label, like the British used "dead man's trench", "grave stone corner", etc. etc.
Hi Rick,
yea, exactly that it is! I asked on another forum too and Jan (AOK 4) solved the problem for me. Bulgarenwald is a little wood located in the triangle between Gheluvelt, Zandvoorde and Zillebeke. The Heuberg can't be far away from the Bulgarenwald. Most probably it's just a hillock
