Hello,

Yes there are a great many sites on Austro-hungarian aviation (Luftfahrtruppe und Seeflieger) a few are these :

http://www.diplomica.com/db/diplomarbeiten2914.html

http://www.austro-hungarian-army.co.uk/lft.htm

http://www.swwisa.net/kuklft/

http://www.designation-systems.net/n...rmany-ww1.html

When searching you may find a lot more.

Thank you very much for interesting links

Please, can you suggest any published material on LFT that would contain data on units, planes assigned to them and posts?

With best regards,

Marko

Books about the KuK Luftfahrtruppe

Hello,

About your enquiry about books about LFT, the standard woth about the LFT is of course by

Peter M. Grosz Austro-Hungarian Army Aircraft of World War One : a classy very big and heavy beauty with the most amazing collection of photographs and colour drawings

There is a host of other books about the Luftfahrtruppe of eminent Austrian writers :

Peter Schupita K.u.K Seeflieger

Reinhard Keimel Österreichs Luftfahrzeuge : Geschichte von der Anfängen bis ende 1918

Jan Zahálka Der grosse Krieg : die Österreichische-ungarische Luftfahrtruppe (a personal favourite of me)

Of course there are a host of other books in all languages (English, German, Italian, Slovak ...) about the LFT. Can make the list more complete (would be an interesting work) but that needs much more time.

Also in the famous magazines Cross & Cockade USA are special articles about the LFT or special aircraft / units / aces etc.

Don't forget Dr. Martin O'Connor's Air Aces of the Austro Hungarian Empire.
