Hello,

I found yet another bombing raid (well that's not that special because Bisseghem was bombed several times a week in 1917) that made some civilian casualties. According to popular belief, the French dropped 6 bombs on the village on 20 October 1916. Any idea how I could find more about this attack? Or could this have been an English attack?

Regards,
Jan

From Royal Flying Corps Communiques: 20Oct 16,

"The 2nd Brigade attacked the ammunition sheds at Bisseghem. Some of the sheds were hit."

Joe,

thanks a lot for the info, I'll have to buy the two other volumes of RFC/RAF communiqués obviously (I only have RFC 1917/18 here).
