Wasn't sure where to put this question ?. But I was just reading about the many people exicted by the dvd release of " the Blue Max " movie . I think i'll stick with my video of it ( ain't got a dvd ). But it made me wonder if anyone knows if a copy of the BBC series called " Wings " shown in the 70's can be purchased anywhere ??. I so loved that series !!. I was about 10 I think when I watched it ...and have always wanted to see it again , but all searches have come to nothing . Can anyone help ?????.

Blockbuster list it as "unavailable". The series ran two seasons, a total of 26 one hour episodes, which I suppose could be squeezed into two boxed sets each of four three hour tapes. Don't hold your breath though.

It did run on cable here quite a while ago and I promised myself I would tape the whole thing. But after missing a couple of episodes early on there didn't seem much point. The pity is that they stopped just as things were about to get really interesting

* Anybody remember the BBC series "Flambards"? *Mine is but a dim recollection: dealt with prewar aviation in the UK.
Belatedly found this site:
