Missing Film From 27th Aero

On or near 1 September 1918, a news crew showed up at the 27th Aero Squadron's field in France. They proceeded to shoot footage of several things, among them mechanics Walter Williams and Ivan Wisdom in company with some young ladies who were visiting the airfield. The following Saturday night the newsreel was shown in the squadron theatre and received splendid reviews from the men.

The newsreel was lost - at least to the former men of the 27th - by late 1961. Has anyone seen or heard of it? As you can imagine, I'd love to find it.

Where do I look? The Idea List starts here!
