Hello,

A friend of mine asked me for the 8 rules of Boelcke as he himself wrote them in German. Could anyone here give me these in German?

Regards,
Jan

I'm not sure if you were to get this in English and use software to convert it to German if it would be the same, but I got this from the following site:

http://www.luftfahrtgeschichte.com/buch11.htm

Hope it helps...

Dicta Boelcke: *

DOH!

Yup, sure were...the site I referenced only had seven....

Well, you can just take 'em in English and go to one of the many search engines that have translation capabilities...or ask one of our esteemed colleagues from Germany here to do it for you....

sorry for any confusion..

I wanted them in original German because if you translate and re-translate, errors are getting into the sentences.
Is there really no one here who has an original German copy of the Boelcke book who can look this up for me?

Jan

Hello Jan,

here is what I have found in "Boelcke. Der Mensch, der Flieger, der Führer der deutschen Jagdfliegerei.", written by Johannes Werner, Leipzig 1932, p.168:

1. Vorteilsuchen vor Angriff. Sonne möglichst im Rücken.
2. Angesetzten Angriff stets durchführen.

Hope that's what you are searching for...

Immo
