Help With German Ranks, Please

Can anyone give me the proper names of the following ranks, along with some rough US/Brit equivalent for the sake of comparison? Any special details or factoids peculiar to either of these ranks would also be helpful. Thank you.

Gefr.

Vzfw.

Rank

Stephen,

Trenches on the Web has an article on this subject that looks pretty comprehensive.

This link will take you there.

Rank Insignia of the German Army 1914-1918

Gefr. = Gefreiter = Lance Corporal
Vzfw. = Vizefeldwebel = Staff Sergeant

Cheers,

FliegerJG1
