* Anyone have any information regarding the 87th and /or the 129th Aero Squadrons. They are not mentioned in any of my sources. Were they ever shipped overseas? If so did either see frontline duty?

A net search for the 87th says that they were organized on 18 Aug. 1917 and redesignated Sqn. B, Park Field on 25 July 1918.
One for the 129th doesn't give any matches ?

Thanks Cliff. At an antique shop I picked up a menu/roster for "Thanksgiving Dinner,1917"for the enlistedmen of the 87th. The original owner penciled in that at the time they were located at Seffridge Field in Mt. Clemens Michigan. I also picked up a mechanics sleeve designator from the 129th,it is certainly of the type used in WW1.I suppose it could be from sometime afterward. I will continue to see what I can dig up.
Thanks again.
