Hi Willy,
Certainly none at the Western Front. However my knowledge on the other seaplane stations is very limited to be honest.
Good books about seaplanes are most certainly Alex Imries German Naval Air Service, a photobook, however hard to find, and also some good info in Peter Kilduff's Germany's first air force. Also interesting, in Flemish is Luchtoorlog boven West-Vlaanderen from Bernard Deneckere, which has given me also some interesting basic info on the other units stationed in this part of Flanders for my research, and with some good parts on the seaplane stations.
Don't forget, German naval forces were very important along the Belgian coast and the Brugge area. Among the German units :
- Marine Feldjasta I II III IV and V
- Seefrosta I II and III
- Kustenflieger Abteilung I II III and IV
- Seeflugstation Flandern I and II
- Marine Feldflieger Abteilung I II and III
- Marine Schlasta I and II
- Torpedostaffel I and II
I'm hoping to republish my book on the Marinekorps Flandern by the end of the year in which the history of all these units will be, amongst the U-boat units, torpedoboats, destroyers of the Flandern Flottille and also the land units, coastal batteries, etc. I have also a photobook on the German Naval Air Service and a second part follows later this year.
About the quality, I leave this up to the members of this Forum to decide on it.
Best from Johan
