It just occured to me that it was almost exactly two years ago that several of us Forumites met in Murvaux, France for the restoration of the Frank Luke memorial.

Over 20 other Forumites (and 300 people worldwide) contributed in various ways to what would turn out to be a collosal undertaking. The memorial was cleaned, sandblasted, a new plaque mounted and a special ceremony held at the unveiling with attendees from... well, I don't remember for sure... but lots of places. The US and most of western Europe were represented.

For all the work that had to be done, I still had a great time and have wonderful memories of that event.
