years ago I acquired drawings that depict WWI aviation. These drawings are attached to paper that have french inscriptions on them depicting the drawing. One of the them have the French Pilot Herteaux. Does anyone know anything about these drawings. Ive seen some similar drawings to have been done by Henri Farre?? Does any one know what the value of them would be, any info at all would be appreciated.

My Gallery
Hi hdtdoc -

Farre did quite a few images, mostly paintings, but I beleive there are a few of his period drawings around as well. Based on my own experience, I would expect there to be quite a few drawings as I tend to do 5 or 10 while prepping for a painting.

The value will depend upon who the artist is - without the images it would be tough to even hazard a guess. Any chance you could post one ?
