Question Richthofen unit in Griesheim

Hello,
I found this information, but I need help.

"Die rote Schwadron landete heute in Griesheim."
"The red Sqadron was landed in Griesheim."

Griesheim is a city near Darmstadt/Hessen.
Anybody know what unit was landed after November 1918 in Griesheim ?
I think, it only was a part of the Jagdgeschwader Nr. 1 Richthofen. But what unit (Jasta 4 or 11 or other) ?

Thanks.

Buddecke

Hi Tobias,

FEA 9 was stationed at Griesheim (though one always says FEA 9 stayed in Darmstadt).

You do have "Jagd in Flanderns Himmel", don't you... JG 1 was disbanded in Aschaffenburg, as far as I know, though they were to bring back their planes to Darmstadt.

Hallo Buddecke,

If it was truly part of Jagdgeschwader I, then it would certainly have been Jasta 11, in my opinion.

Hello All,

Was this not the event in which Goering ordered his men to crash-land their planes so as to prevent their aircraft from falling into the hands of the Allies?
