Question US-monuments in the Argonne-Verdun-St.Mihiel area

Hello!

During my trips to the Verdun area I've visited the US-monument at Romagne-s-Montfaucon. As far as I know this one was built by the USA.

Furthermore I stumbled across at least 3 others (2 for Pennsylvania in Varennes and Nantillois and 1 for Missouri in Cheppy).

My question is: are there other monuments built by the other US-states in the Argonne-Verdun-St. Mihiel area and where can I find them?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

There is the 2nd US Division memorial rock in St. Etiennes ŕ Arnes and there's the memorial in Blanc Mont (these are in the Champagne area though). Both are not too far away from the Argonnes. I remember there must be some more in the Verdun area, but I can't remember where exactly. I'll have a look to see if I can find those somewhere.

Don't forget the lost batallion rock on the Binarville-Aprémont road.

Jan
