Hi,

Although this unit was part of the 61st Wing RAF it is clear it was not stationed at Jabbeke-Snellegem aerodrome by the end of October 1918 with the other units.

Question is :
Did it become part of another Wing or did it finally join the other units at this airfield by the end of or after the war ?

Thanks and best from Regulus

Regulus,

210 were as you quite rightly say, part of 61 Wing 5 group, but not at the end of October.

The squadron was previously under 22 Wing 5 Brigade and stationed at St. Marie Capelle during June. The squadron moved to Teteghem on the 8th July 1917, transferring to 61 Wing on that day. They then moved to Eringhem on the 22nd July.

A move to Boussieres on the 23rd October saw another change of ownership to 13 Wing 3 Brigade.

They stayed with 13 Wing until a move to Scopwick in February 19 with disbandment following in June.

Thanks Mike,

As you mentioned I already suspected it was a change of Wing. But now I'm sure ! Thanks for clarifying the situation, it was very interesting to me as I still have a lot to learn on Allied units.

Best from Regulus
