Hello

The big book on French escadrilles published by SHAA contains a list of airfields.
In august 1914, these Belgian airfields were used by the French :
Chimay
Gembloux
Philippeville
Two esc.26 aircrafts were stationed at Anvers.

In General Vuillemin's biography there are some infos about escadrille CM (Caudron Monoplace, later C39) in Belgium in august, and details about reconnaissance flights.
Is this of some interest to you?
