I received a query about leaflet dropping in Palestine in 1917 before Allenby's offensive towards Juresalem. Apparently this appears from time to time, but not in British War Office records. In none of the things I have read about 1 Sqn AFC's service in Palestine can I recall mention of leaflet dropping. Anyone know if leaflet dropping was done by AFC or RFC squadrons in the theatre?

As well the Germans dropped leaflets for the British Indian troops which demanded anti-British uprisings. So I would be very surpised if the Britons did not the same. Sadly, I can not help with precise numbers of British squadrons doing these jobs.
