As some on this forum are aware I am currently writing a biographpy of Major RS Dallas :
 . I have most of what I need but does anyone have access to or know where I can get 40sqn record book from 17Mar 18 - 1st Jun 18 ie Dallas' time as CO ? :-/Cheers Breguet

have you used the PRO's on-line search facility for the Air 1 files? It is cumbersome but does produce hits when you get the question right. www.pro.gov.uk Mike |

I have a copy the 40 Sq. SRB from April - Nov 1918 and combat reports for the period 1916-1918. I do not know if the latter is a complete set or not. If you'd like a copy of either or both, send me your snail mail address at ONEALM@DNB.COM. Cheers, Mike
