As some on this forum are aware I am currently writing a biographpy of Major RS Dallas :. I have most of what I need but does anyone have access to or know where I can get 40sqn record book from 17Mar 18 - 1st Jun 18 ie Dallas' time as CO ? :-/
AIR 1/173/15/166/1 History of 40 Squadron R.A.F. 1917-1918 1919 Feb. 5
AIR 1/692/21/20/40 History of 40 Squadron, R.A.F. 1916-1937
AIR 1/1222/204/5/2634 Combat reports: 40 Squadron 1916 June-1918 Nov.
I have a copy the 40 Sq. SRB from April - Nov 1918 and combat reports for the period 1916-1918. I do not know if the latter is a complete set or not. If you'd like a copy of either or both, send me your snail mail address at ONEALM@DNB.COM.
Cheers,
Mike
