Thanks Barrett. Looks like you get another chance to check out the towel scene.

;D Still am disappointed that it wasn't Catharina Zeta Jones in that towell scene ! Lucky that Di Caprio wasn't born yet ! See him as a fighting ace ? Yukkes !

Regulus,
How true! Does it seem that most of the male stars of today appear to look about fourteen years old, or am I just getting old? Last weekend I saw "The Shipping News" with Kevin Spacey, Judi Dench, Julianne Moore, etc. Not a single pimply face in sight, and a great movie.

Hi Terry,

Haven't seen The Shipping News yet. What's it about ?

We getting old ? Nooooo, just too much plastic surgery in Hollywood, that's the problem !

Our old friend Barrett has become so silent. Still enjoying the towell scene ? Wonder if he already knows who I was in my former life on the forum

Yes, too much fourteen year old looks and too much action heroes like Stallone or Schwarzenegger. See them playing Stachel ? Don't think so ! The plane wouldn't dare to get in the air with them on board !

Perhaps an idea for a comedy. Hmm.

Regulus,
"The Shipping News" is based on the novel by E.Annie Proulx, which I think won a Pulitzer Prize.
Kevin Spacey plays a loser - an American living in New York with a menial job and a slut for a wife. When tragedy strikes he ends up moving to Newfoundland, where his "people" came from originally. There he gradually learns of his heritage, and develops as a person. Spacey is excellent, and the movie is fine - no gun fights, explosions, or gratuitous sex - just good acting.
A local guy worked on the set as a best boy, and had a walk on part as one of the slut's boyfriends. The highlight of his scene was when he got to pinch Kate Blanchett's ass!

Dan (and Other Esteemed Forumites):
The Presence you felt probably was cosmic--the earth moved, angels wept, somewhere the sun rose.
And I really WOULD like to see Catherine Z-J in that role, but she was probably about 8 when TBM was filmed...

Any truth to the rumor that the moths had finally gotten to "THE TOWEL"?
