I read that this Sqdn was stationed for a short period on the formerly German aerodrome of Snellegem-Varsenare-Jabbeke (depending on the source another villagename is used, but it's all the same one) which was once the home of the Marine Feldjasta's.

However I can't seem to figure out when thay were stationed over there. I know that they were back in England in March 1919 but that's all !

Does anyone know something more on this ?

According to The Squadrons of the Royal Air force by James J Halley, No 202 Sqn was at Varssenaere from 18 November 1918 to 23 March 1919, moving on to Driffield on 24 March.

Sturdivant (Royal Naval Aircraft Serials & Units) has a slightly different opinion,

202 at Varssenaere on 20/11/18, then to Driffield on 26/3/19.

Lake (Flying Units of the RAF) doesn't even have 202 stationed at Varsennaere!

Thanks Graeme and Mike ! I already had the idea that they got there after the Armistice, and now I do have certitude ! With the dates (give or take a day, not important). Great !
