Does anyone know just where the French aeroplane factories and offices were located? I'm especially interested in Nieuport, Caudron and SPAD. Oh. And any other information about engineers who worked for those companies. Did they ever use outside consultants? Did any representatives or engineers of those companies visit aerodromes very often?
If you want to see what the factory actually looked like try and get your hands on a video/DVD of "Four Years Of Thunder". It shows the original Bleriot factory building on the Seine, with the added signage for SPAD.
