Russ Gannon, a question.

Russ:
On 30 November 1917, Capt. George Thompson of No.46 Squadron shot down a Pfalz D.III over Havrincourt Wood, piloted by Ltn.Hans Hofacker of Jasta 33.
I am hoping you have the Combat Report, and I hope it describes the colors and markings of Pfalz D.III. I hope you can help me.
Blue skies,
Dan-San

Dan

Should have contacted me on private messages - I nearly missed this post. Sorry I don't have Thompson's CR but will go home and have a look at what I can come up with - I think off the cuff, Hofacker's pretty smashed up Pfalz - can be seen in photo's of a wartime captured aircraft display, somewhere in an old issue of C&C GB.

Cheers Russ
