Willi mentioned that big cat from Flyboys....Whiskey.

Not sure anyone actually "owned" any cats, Willi. Cats, if you have ever had one, are never "owned." Cats do the owning. lol People don't have cats, cats have people. Most people kept cats around as mousers, in the past. There were loads and loads of kitty-cats on airdromes, but I'm not sure any were actual curl-up-in-your-lap-and-purr pets, like dogs, goats, etc. were.

This brings to mind a quote by Lazarus Long, a character from a science fiction novel called Time Enough for Love by Robert Heinlein: Women & Cats Will Do As They Please, and Men and Dogs Should Relax and Get Used to the Idea.

Yaay, post #600!!,AnywayJasta 10 owned a babboon named Betty which they got from a zoo.But Betty was a real trouble maker and opened the pilots luggage, took out the contents and made a mess of things!Im sure that they decided to return it to a zoo.The moral to that story is that monkeys don't make good pets
