In the narrative of the engagment between 104 squadron and Kest 1a on Sept 7, 1918, Keith Rennles in the book '
Independent Force ', states that Rudolf Nebel of Kest 1a was flying a Fokker D7 equipped with a wireless telegraphy set. It was not uncommon for the Kests to use two-seaters with W/T sets to shadow the Entente bomber formations, but this is the only case I've seen where a single-seater was so equipped. Does anyone know of any cases where the frontline Jastas used W/T sets?
