Jasta 11 conversion to Albatros D3

Hello everyone,
Is the date known when Jasta 11 was completely converted to the Albatros D3? I've read that at the end of February 1917, there were only 137 D3s in the frontline inventory, obviously not enough to fully equip all the Jastas. I'm assuming that the best performing Jastas converted first and D2s were retained for quite awhile to make up numbers.

Jasta 11 and the Alb.D.III

Hello Steven:
Jasta 11 did not get rid of there Halb.D.II and D.III machines until 4 April 1917. By 5 April 1917 Jasta 11 was completely equipped with the Alb.D.III.
Jasta 11 had no victories until after MvR became the Jastaführer on 15 January 1917. It did not get really hot until April 1917.
Blue skies,
Dan-San

Dan San,
Thanks for the quick response and with the exact date. I've noticed that Jasta 11 got hot really fast after a lackluster start. The figures I've seen are 28 claims in March, 89 claims in April and 30 claims in May. At least in April, no other Jasta got close to those numbers. Were the other Jastas on the Arras front all flying D3s as well? The reason I ask is to try to understand Jasta 11's outstanding performance. Obviously, MvR's leadership was a major factor, but was it the only one? The other Arras front Jastas were in the same operational enviroment and presumably had quality pilots as well.
Thanks again
