WW1 Aerial bomb leaflet

Does anyone have an original copy of any of the leaflets issued to give information including drawings of aerial bombs in WW1?

I guess I need to ask "what aerial bombs?" what air service are we discussing? the British, French, German, American, Russian?

there is a reprint of many of those leaflets called "Details of Aerial Bombs" ISBN: 9781845742782

but I suspect that the word "original" in the initial post means that you may already own this book and it was not to your satisfaction.

at any rate, I bought this book earlier this year through Amazon-- although it's also available here:

Details Of Aerial Bombs - Naval & Military Press

there are some 20-30 leaflet reproductions in this volume. frankly, unless you're a die-hard historian or a professional author-- this book should do nicely for the normal WWI afficianado with a limited budget. it covers all of the major aerial bombs in usage by the RAF during 1918. if you're looking for information on other nationalities I'm afraid that I have nothing else to offer.

I'll bet money this isn't a leaflet about aerial bombs-- but I found this at the Seattle Museum of Flight. took a picture--- cuz it might look very similar to what you're after.

I tried to put in a direct link to a website discussing leaflets.

However, I got a message from this forum which said "In an effort to stamp out forum SPAM only members with 10 posts or more can post website links or email addresses." Thanks for protecting us all! Security again hinders progress.

Go to Google and type in "PSYOP OF WWI" the first couple sites show leaflets from both sides from WW1.

The psy ops people have some excellent web sites and catalogs of leaflets.

Hi Ben, thanks for that - the leaflets i'm looking for are actually guides to the bombs themselves for armourers, however that website is extremely interesting.

Cheers, Rob
