ugh! I hate it when this happens!!!
Last week I was surfing around The Aerodrome Forum... and came across this great thread that described a new online WWI photo archive... The subject was something about "shot down in flames" and was asking if other forumites thought the picture was real...
Anyway... I've searched and searched... using different terms in the search engine... and failed.. Help! I think Dan San identified the shot down in flames aircraft as a Halberstadt if that helps... it was falling in two parts... the engine was seperated from the rest of the aircraft. Ugh... Thanks for any leads you can give.. Rob |
