Ever had dreams about WWI
Unfortunetly for me,not many (even though I think about it at a 24/7 basis!).
But one night I had a dream about a Dr1 (factory finish green I think) and in the distance a formation of British flyers. The Dr1 evaded ASAP.
Thats all I can think of

First dream I ever recall having in glorious technicolour! I'd be about twelve when I had this dream...
I was a kid riding home on the skool bus when we were buzzed by the Red Baron in his triplane. He made several passes and then, to cheers and great delight from us kids, crashed in the car park of 'The Limes Club' boozer.
I got off the bus and went to have a neb. The Red Baron was dead, smouldering and badly burnt, the force of the impact had smashed him and his seat deep into the fuselage of the aircraft. It was all a bit gory and horrible. When I told my Mom about it she went apeshit and blamed Sven Hassel! I'd just discovered his books and was reading 'em all the time, she nicked them and chucked them in the bin.

Mum, Has the Bin Man been yet, Mum?
Greetings Ginger.,
Two important questions remain to be asked:
Did the Bin Man save them?
Did you cut and save any Red fabric or grab any other souvenirs?
Cheers FOKKERJ

Induced dreams
My dentist used to provide nitrous oxide gas for pain relief. I looked forward to dental appointments because it allowed me to become a WW1 Brisfit observer. I used to ask for extra gas, claiming I have a low threshold to pain. The WW1 experience was so real and vivid that it was sometimes scary, especially when a D7 got on my tail and I was frantically swinging those twin vickers on the scarf ring to see him in my blind spot! Strangely enough, as a result of this experience I think I have a better appreciation of WW1 aerial combat than just about anyone else alive today! And its a beautiful but terrifying experience!! Of course, it helps if you have a naturally vivd imagination
Sadly, he doesn't provide gas any more.
