Serny aerodrome

I am researching the history of my late father in the RFC . He was in 18 squadron based at Serny aerodrome in early 1918, when he was injured in a crash. I wonder if anyone can pinpoint where that was/is and where I might find details of day to day activities.
Thanks

Ian

Hello Ian,
About halfway between St Omer and Béthune, just south of the E15.

Thanks for that.

I will visit it next time I go to France
My father joined the Canadian Engineers before being seconded to the RFC and I was surprised how much information the National Archives were able to supply but obvouisly not much operational information.

Cheers

Ian
