KEK Cunel near Verdun

I'm trying to find more information on this unit, especially on what happened to it after the KEK's were disbandoned.

Most of them became part of a Jasta, but I couldn't find any indications on this matter for KEK Cunel.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Johan

Hallo Johan,

I was searching for the same information a couple of months ago and found nothing. FFA 34 was the unit based there at the time, but that is all I know. I, too, hope someone might have something to add...

Well it seems to remain a mystery for the moment. What's no longer a mystery is the location of the aerodrome at Cunel, and we also have been abel to identify al the names on the Memorial next to the aerodrome. Only two men remain a mystery as they are on no loss list.

We hope to take a further look at the KEK aerodromes in October this year for the Verdun region, as also the location of Sivry aerodrome is known now.

Hi Bruno,

I knew that they existed, but that was all, didn't know that one could buy them.

Thank you very much for the link !

Encore un bonne soirée !
