I am I the only one who thinks that the Actor Karl Michael Vogler, who played Hauptmann Heidemann in the Blue Max, looks like Ltn Rudolf Stark?

Very nice Captain Lewis!

What sort of medal is it you're wearing so proudly around your neck and for which act of bravery was it awarded?

the award is the so-called "Blaue Maus" (Blue Mouse) with Golden Bell and White Velvet. 8)
Sadly on this photo the Blue colour of the Blaue Maus became pale and looks white too.

Obviously Captain Lewis lost his right eye in a dogfight!!

Dein schier unendliches Wissen um alle Aspekte des großen Völkerringens nötigt mir immer wieder Ehrfurcht erheischende Bewunderung ab!

I hope we will find a detailed chapter about this very high award of the "Blaue Maus" in Neal O'Connors vol.VII of "Aviation Awards of Imperial Germany and the Cats who earned them."

BTW, any news from Schiffer concerning this thing?
