Actually, I think it is. Jacobs' entry date into FEA 9 s/b 1Aug14 !! Sometimes the fumble fingers just fumble R.

A bit more on Jacobs. He began flying in 1912, combat flying 1914. He admitted to being shot up & crash landing many times. One reason he scored less than Manfred was that he was in a stationary field, unlike Manfred who moved to where the action was hot time after time. He also was posted to instructional duties as well.
