Hello to all!
Recently I'm read article, dedicated to chief of Gestapo Gruppenfuhrer Heinrich Muller. (I'm must explain: in all ex-USSR this figure is cult since 1970th, after serial "17 days of Spring", which dedicated to work of Soviet Intelligence in the last days of Third Reich). In this article presented biography of Muller, and mentioned, that he was a bomber pilot during WW1 and received a "high award" after the raid on Paris! Does anybody can to confirm this information?
Many thanks!

Not much help here, I'm afraid. I do have a Ltn. Müller (no first name) serving in BG 5/Bs 4 and taken POW in Feb18, but that would be a stretch. R.

The only thing I could find on him:
While still young he worked for Bayerische Flugzeugwerke di Monaco. In 1917 he voluntarily enlisted in the Air Force and was subsequently decorated with the Iron Cross first and second class. In 1919 he was employed near the Inspectorate of the Air Force of Monaco. On December 1st he joined the police. Everything else deals with his SS history.

The only reference to a high award I found was from the Weisenthal center. "Muller remained loyal to Adolf Hitler to the end in the bunker where Hitler spent his last weeks. On October 15, 1944, Muller, the ex - pilot, was awarded the Knight's Cross with crossed swords (the highest German award in World War II) for excellence, in recognition of his services in the merciless pursuit of the participants in the July 20, 1944, plot against Hitler. These included some of Muller's friends, such as Count Wolf Heinrich von Helldorf, Arthur Nebe, Hans Gisevius, and Friedrich Werner von der Schulenburg."
