I didn't take specific notes but there were at least a coupla times when MvR was the attackee, though apparently he was not surprised on those occasions. It's prob'ly fair to say he was surprised by Roy Brown, but of course that didn't count since Brown missed.... h34r:

Dallas may have been the only biggie KIA by being surprised air-air, though I lack details on Boyau, Coiffard, and Dorme. Barker just just doggone lucky!
