Paul, Very interesting. Scanning further, I gather all those documents and award certificates for Boelcke are up for sale. Needless to say, they are going to cost someone a few sheckels!! R.

Hi Rick,

most of the items are already sold. If I remember correct the auction took place a few years ago...

I always have a sad feeling seeing those things for sale on auctions. It would be much better to keep these things together and hand it over to a museum. I'm afraid that in most cases these documents are lost for the interested general public

Many thanks for the link, Paul... A very intersting file. I'll be awile translating all of these documents (My Deutsch gets worse the farther from the Fatherland I get) . Another fine item to add to my collection.
