Hello Johan
I have have some loose notes on Hptm Leo Pfeifer. Among this is that he received the DLV Nr 303 dated 9 Oct 12.. Before the War he served within FB 1/x (x = unknown Kompagnie), and when the War started he was posted to FFA 7.. Pfeifer then served within BAO and FFA 66 where he possible was promoted to Hptm on 18 Dec 15... Some sources also place him within FFA 16 around this time, but this might be a typo for FFA 66...?? I dont knew exact when he took over the command of KG 5, but he probbably stayed in command for about two months... After his service within KG 5 he later lead FAA 260 and KG 2... Gunnar |

A bit a mystery man this Pfeifer (Pfeiffer) Hauptmann, I couldn't find anything at all on him concerning his carreer with the Kagohls, except his commands, and even that stays rather misty. For the moment I don't even know at all when he was exactly in command of both Kagohl units. Not usual for someone of his rank. Best from Johan
