Guynemer (Queries)
Queries on Guynemer:
1) Is his Squadron "The Storks" (?) still part of the French Air Forces? Of Interest: 2) Years ago I came across a World War I avaition history-one photo had a photo of a German Aircraft tail with Iron Cross emblum which supposedly came from  Kurt Wissemann plane after it had been shot down.

yes guynemer squadron is still active spa3 is a member of the the EC1/2 cigogne flying Mirage 2000-5 the other squadron of thise squadron are spa 103 (Fonck) and spa12 (the first fighter squadron) spa12 insigna have been modified and is now a version of the spa 103 stork
