Smile Hptm Lauterbach, a Bavarian...

Hello all

I am searching added information regarding Hptm Lauterbach...!
At the moment I knew that he served "originally" within Bavarian Luft und Kraftfahrerabteilung and that he was promoted Lt on 9 Mar 02 and that he become Hptm already on 16 Dec 14...

However, I dont have any information on his WW1 career except that he was still active during 1918...

Anyone out there who has added information, like first name etc...??

Lauterbach

Gunnar,

Felix Lauterbach. Born in 1881, he was actually appointed to the rank of Hauptmann "ohne Patent" on the 17.12.1913 but did not receive his Patent until 16.12.14.

Promoted to Oberleutnant on 18.11.08. Following the war he entered the Reichsheer and served in Kraftfahr-Abteilung 7 and Divisions-Sanitäts-Abteilung 7. Retired as a Major in late 22/early 23.

Died 18.10.1958.

Regards
Glenn

Thanks both...

It was far more information then I expected to receive...

If we only could find similar information for Prussian officers, everything would be much easier...
