Question Paul Aue

No. 3 in a series.

Paul Aue is credited with ten victories, the second and third of which I have not been able to locate. I also do not have his date and place of death, other than as a Russian POW, supposedly in 1945. Does anyone have any further details? I have his date and place of birth.

Frank.

Scott,
I have his place of birth as Söbringen, Kgr. Sachsen, date as noted by Hal.

Barrett,
Yes, of course I am getting closer. I hope to get it done by the end of the year, or early the next. I just haven't promised which year ... Although I really do hope "the end of the year" is the end of *this* year.

Hal,
Thanks for the additional information.

Frank.

Frank,

is it Söbringen or Söbrigen?

Maybe unimportant because both villages are situated on the northern side of the Elbe River and today (since ca 1950) part of Dresden.

I did never believe that Aue was born so close to my old home but on the "wrong" side of the river.
