"A new website of five million servicemen’s records from the First World War has received more than 1.4 million hits in its first five days after being put on the internet by the National Archives at Kew. The site, which lists the medals won by those who fought in the Army and the Royal Flying Corps, includes records for the future Edward VIII, Winston Churchill, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Wilfred Owen."
