Americans with 20 Squadron RAF
Hi,
As well as the famed Iaccaci brothers, I know of four other Americans who served with 20 Squadron in 1918, these being:
Lt. CR Oberst, Major Spatz, Lt. EW Sweeney and Lt. GH Zellers (who was killed). I do not know in what capacity Major Spatz was with the squadron, but the others were all pilots.
Now the question: does anyone out there have any further biographical or career information on any of them, or know of somewhere I could obtain same? Any help much appreciated.
Cheers
Bob
